McArthur has devoted her practice of more than 30 years exclusively to the representation of school districts with emphasis on special education and disability law, including student rights and responsibilities, student misconduct issues and student discipline matters. Ms. McArthur represents school districts in administrative hearings, federal district and appellate courts. She provides consultation and advice on an ongoing basis to school districts throughout the country.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Jill graduated from the University of California, Berkeley (B.A. 1985) and Santa Clara University School of Law (J.D. 1989), and has been a member of the California Bar, among others, since 1990. After law school, Ms, Greiner moved to Nevada to serve as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice John Code Mowbray, Nevada Supreme Court. Following her clerkship, she litigated criminal and civil cases at the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office and the Reno City Attorney’s Office.
Nathan Ayala graduated from Santa Clara University in 2009 with a Political Science Major and a minor in English. He received his law degree from Santa Clara University’s School of Law in 2018. While there, he was a part of the mock trial team.
Kristal Tidwell joined McArthur & Levin in 2017. Prior to McArthur & Levin, she was an attorney for the Department of Defense in the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Station in China Lake, California, where she began her legal career advising on governmental projects involving contract, environmental, trademark, patent law and civil litigation cases.
During their nearly 10 years as an attorney, Justin has gained experience across many practice areas including personal injury, multi-district litigation and consumer class actions, securities industry litigation and FINRA arbitrations, employment law, and education law, among others.
