Jill Greiner
Attorney at lawBorn and raised in the Bay Area, Jill graduated from the University of California, Berkeley (B.A. 1985) and Santa Clara University School of Law (J.D. 1989), and has been a member of the California Bar, among others, since 1990. After law school, Ms, Greiner moved to Nevada to serve as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice John Code Mowbray, Nevada Supreme Court. Following her clerkship, she litigated criminal and civil cases at the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office and the Reno City Attorney’s Office.
In 1996 she became a Due Process Hearing Officer for the Nevada Department of Education, as well as Douglas, Clark and Washoe County school districts. She currently serves as an administrative hearing officer for the City of Santa Cruz, the City of Reno, and the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners. She is also a Settlement Judge for the Nevada Supreme Court and a pro tempore judge for the Sparks Municipal Court. In 2021, she joined McArthur and Levin.
Ms. Greiner has attended numerous specialized trainings and conferences, including IDEA trainings by the Nevada Department of Education, mediation seminars at Harvard University School of Law and the National Judicial College, and trainings by the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution, the United States EEOC, and the Nevada Supreme Court.
In her free time, Ms. Greiner enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, and running.
